iTero Digital Scanner

At Eola Dental we care about our patients! We continually strive to improve each of our patient’s experience by attending training courses and always looking for advanced technological equipment to benefit our patients. As a result we have invested in a new intra oral digital scanner, the iTero Scanner.

The iTero scanner utilizes a 3D model of the patient’s teeth instead of the more cumbersome tray impression of the past. This will help insure more accurate impressions the first time resulting in higher quality restorations such as crowns and bridges.

The benefits to our patients include: more accurate impressions, crowns and bridges will be delivered in a more timely manner as the 3D impression is electronically sent directly to the laboratory and a more comfortable appointment without the use of impression material.

With the iTero, we can fabricate sports guards and occlusal guards to help minimize the effects of bruxism (grinding or clenching) which if left unaided with a occlusal guard, it can result in jaw pain, loose teeth and increased tooth pain or sensitivity.
